One shot, from aim to landing

Four little steps. One big decision.

Pick your target, roll for distance, and live with where the ruler takes you.

01

Aim

A ball and an aimed shot path.

Pick your target and line up your ruler.

02

Roll

A six-sided die showing four.

Call the driver first if you want it, then roll.

03

Add terrain

Fairway terrain with a plus-one modifier.

Add your terrain bonus — or trouble.

04

Measure

A ruler measuring the distance of a golf shot.

Multiply by the driver, then measure. That is your shot.

The driver is a second die. Call it before you roll — it multiplies.

Two ways to play. Roll first and then aim, and it becomes a puzzle a six-year-old can win. Call your line first and it becomes a gamble. Same sheet, same six rules — worth about a stroke a hole, so you can mix ages at one table.

Read the six rules

It gets loud.

Four people round one sheet, and somebody is always about to do something crazy.

Four people, one sheet, fifteen seconds

“I’m going for it.”

Call the driver and you might fly the whole lake. Or land in it. In front of everyone.

A risky shot across the meadow lake.

“Not the trees.”

There is one shot every round that goes so wrong it becomes the story.

A winding course with rough, gorse and an awkward route around the hazards.

“How is the little one winning?”

A gentler way to play lets everybody compete at the same table.

A colourful candy-land golf course that children of different ages can play together.

Six worlds. A hundred ways to the flag.

Same game. Somewhere else entirely.

Every world is a new set of courses — and the kids will have a favourite within about a minute.

About printing.

  • A4 is fine. A3 is roomier, but the game plays perfectly well on either.
  • No printer? A print shop or your local library can run off a sheet.
  • Laminating is optional. A cheap plastic sleeve and a whiteboard marker work beautifully.
  • Everything else you already have: one ruler, one die, and something to draw with.
